Meet The Founder

I grew up in Connecticut and was raised by my three older sisters. At 18 I joined the Navy with the options of being a Storekeeper or a Corpsman. Not knowing much about either, I chose Corpsman.

Two decades later, my character remains unchanged. Driven by compassion I have nurtured a relentless mindset. Having spent the last decade as a Recon Corpsman, I have been humbled by failure and humored by success, many times.

I have built schools in South America, I’ve patrolled the Arctic Circle and the U.S. – Mexico border, I’ve fought in the Middle East, and I have lived in the South Pacific. I’ve worked with conventional units and special operations units across all branches.
As a Special Operations Medic, I have seen and personally experienced the physical and mental toll that commitment to service takes on service members. It spares no one.

I have always taken extraordinary pride in how I treat people and Zero Nexxus has given me the opportunity to broaden my reach.

I started Zero Nexxus in the wake of a conversation with my former Recon Platoon Sergeant. He exemplified service and had the commendations to prove it. A chance encounter after our company disbanded led me to cross paths with him. In that brief conversation he confided in me that he was struggling with his transition from the Marine Corps. This man had fought in Fallujah and Helmand, and I was not going to let him fall victim to circumstance.

That night I went home and created a solution for him, what I realized in that moment was that this template could be applied to anyone separating from service.

… and Zero Nexxus was born.
